Early in his dance studies, John starred in the feature-length dance film "Girl Walk // All Day." This Official Selection of the SXSW Film Festival made TimeOut New York, Critereon, and The San Francisco Film Critic's list of Best Films of 2012. His choreography and solo work has been shown at The Public Theatre, The Brooklyn Museum, Ailey Citigroup Theatre, Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art and Brooklyn Masonic Temple.
