Harlem Dance Club is thrilled to be offering three in-person classes at the Jackie Robinson Bandshell on Saturday June 19th. These classes showcase excellence in dance education. These in person classes will take place on concrete following NYC Parks COVID protocol. Please bring water. In the event of rain, a link for zoom classes will be sent the morning of June 19th. Everyone must complete the Health Screening Form before the class begins.

The class is an inter-generational and multi-level West African Dance technique class.In this class, dancers will experience a warm-up, introduction to Technique, and a brief summary of the history/folklore and cultural relevance of the dance. In addition, dancers will practice movements across the floor and learn a combination. This is a non-competitive class where learning is fun.
