Workshop Description:

The purpose of this class is to provide an environment where participants can explore the diverse forms of Afro-Cuban dance tradition. By learning about various movements associated with the Orishas/Dahomei and more  (from African traditions brought to Cuba), we will delve into the history and significance of each form. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, this class offers an accessible path to understanding dance through the lens of movement quality and cultural context. Come join us and deepen your appreciation of this vibrant and rich cultural heritage!
