This FREE workshop will explore our incredible strength and how to unlock it through movement. A dance playlist will inspire all ages and abilities as we move across-the-floor together.
Harlem Dance Club's Artistic Director John Clayton Doyle will begin this workshop with a brief visualization exercise to unlock inner sources of strength. Liberating across-the-floor exercises set to an epic dance playlist will develop balance, flexibility, rhythm and artistry. All ages and abilities are welcome. These will be repeated across-the-floor at varied speeds and intensities. Accommodations will be made for all abilities. Together we will explore the healing power of movement and learn to carry it with us beyond the dance floor.
This class is intended for bare feet or socks. However, if sneakers or dance slippers are needed for support issues, no problem.
